    Souburg bridge
    On the left is Oost-Souburg (East) and on the other side is West-Souburg. The bridge is crossing the canal through Walcheren (Kanaal door Walcheren, 1869-1873). Only pedestrians and bicycles are allowed to pass the bridge.

    In the past, every bridge had a man who opened the bridge when a boat was coming. But nowadays all bridges over the canal are opened centrally. Cameras keep surveillance of the boats and waiting people. The central office is at the sea locks (sluizen) near the Vlissingen train station.

    The train station of Oost-Souburg is 25 mtres from the bridge.
