Inquiry for Primary Crusher Unit for Coal Processing
We are currently evaluating options for a primary crusher unit to be integrated into our coal handling and processing system. The unit is intended to process run-of-mine (ROM) coal with a maximum feed size of approximately 1,000 mm and reduce it to a manageable size for downstream operations. The crusher will be a critical component in our coal preparation plant, and we require a robust, high-capacity machine capable of handling abrasive materials while ensuring minimal downtime.
Key requirements for the primary crusher include:
- Capacity: The unit should process at least 1,500 tons per hour (TPH) to match our production demands.
- Material Handling: The crusher must accommodate high-moisture coal without clogging or excessive wear.
- Durability: Components such as rotors, hammers, and liners should be constructed from wear-resistant materials to extend service life.
- Maintenance Accessibility: Easy access for routine inspections and part replacements is essential to minimize operational disruptions.
- Drive System: Preference is given to units with direct or hybrid drive systems for energy efficiency and reliability.

We are considering jaw crushers, gyratory crushers, or impact crushers based on their suitability for coal processing. Each option has distinct advantages in terms of throughput, particle size reduction, and maintenance requirements. Jaw crushers offer simplicity and reliability but may have limitations in handling wet or sticky coal. Gyratory crushers provide higher capacity but require more structural support. Impact crushers are effective for softer materials but may experience higher wear rates with abrasive coal.

Additionally, we request information on the following:
- Installation Requirements: Foundation specifications, power supply needs, and space considerations.
- Dust Suppression Systems: Integrated solutions to control airborne particulates during operation.
- Automation Features: Availability of advanced controls for monitoring performance and optimizing crushing parameters.
- After-Sales Support: Warranty terms, availability of spare parts, and technical assistance for commissioning and troubleshooting.
Please provide detailed specifications, technical drawings, and case studies of similar installations in coal processing applications. Pricing options, including delivery and installation costs, should also be included in your proposal. We aim to finalize equipment selection within the next six weeks to align with our project timeline.
Kindly submit your response at the earliest convenience to facilitate further discussions and site evaluations if necessary. We look forward to reviewing your recommendations
